Somehow I decided to implement a “more honest” (in my opinion) system of enchanting weapons and armor. The implementation of additional items increasing the chance of enchantment, which was added in the later releases of Gracia, was taken as a basis.
It was also decided to introduce a complexity modifier that reduces the chance of enchantment with an increase in the grade of equipment, which seems logical. Considering that magic weapons have a greater increase in damage per unit of enchantment, the complexity of their enchantment was also increased.
And finally, the player should see all the modifiers with the final percentage chance. The cherry on the cake was the implementation of fireworks upon successful enchantment (small up to 10 units and large over), as well as the social action “Sorrow” upon failure.
